Djarot Invites Thai Investors Investing in Jakarta

Surely, this really helps the people to manage licensing easily and not spend a lot of money, as well as corruption can be prevented

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat introduced a system of One-Door Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) to a former Minister of Thailand, Chuan Leekpai when he visited to the City Hall, Thursday (2/5). It aims to attract more Thai investors to invest in Jakarta.

"Earlier this year, the public service is developed via PTSP at the level of urban village, sub-district, city, until province. Surely, this really helps the people to manage licensing easily and not spend a lot of money, as well as corruption can be prevented," explained Djarot, in front of Mr. Chuan, Thursday (2/5).

Tree Logging Must Go Through PTSP Permission

He cited, for domicile licensing, its process only takes 10 minutes. While the licensing that has a lot of documents take between 3-4 days. He also introduced the provision of dynamic allowance (TKD) for all civil servants under Jakarta government which is applied this year. "We do this to combat the bribery and corruption practices among employees," he stressed.

At the same time, a former Minister of Thailand, Chuan Leekpai assessed Jakarta led the reform of bureaucracy compared to other cities in Indonesia. "In addition to physical and building construction, Jakarta also controls the bureaucracy reform. No wonder, the future will be brighter and become one of the most remarkable city in the Asia Pacific," he argued.
